Understanding of Sales Management

Meet again with me in online courses, for discussion this time I will explain the basic understanding of sales management. Please understand what I explain below.

Marketing: activities aimed at the business plan, determine pricing, promoting, and distributing the goods / services to target markets in order to achieve organizational goals.

Seller: science and art of personal influence by the seller to invite other people to willing buy goods / services offered.

Scope of Sales Activities:
  1. Based on the type of commodity: goods and services
  2. Based on product origin: agricultural, fisheries, forest products, industrial products, the services.
  3. By area: city, provincial, national, foreign
  4. Based on the amount of effort: retail
  5. Based on the selling: shops, markets
  6. Based on the method of payment: cash and credit
  7. Based on execution time: now and futures

Learn Why Sales?
  1. Every person is a seller
  2. Every organization needs sales
  3. Career opportunities in sales

People say about the sales / sales myths:
  1. Sales is the manipulation: Attempt to make people do something that will not necessarily be
  2. Sales showed a personality that err: habits like persuading
